ASCII Billing or CSR Data

Local services billing and or CSR data is available in a comma-delimited ASCII format. Depending on the sections of the paper bill or the types of charges, the data is separated into various files; such as: payment, toll, monthly service, etc.


File Transport Protocols

CenturyLink supports various industry standard file protocols including, but not limited to: SFTP, FTP SSL/TLS, Connect:Direct (NDM), HTTPS, WebDAV SSL/TLS, and AS2.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is the computer-to-computer exchange of business documents in a standard electronic format between business partners. In accordance with national guidelines, CenturyLink utilises the ASC X12 811 transaction set to present billing data in a consolidate service invoice/statement.


Electronic bills may contain charges for third-parties. These charges may be for telecommunications services or for non-telecommunication services, such as dial-up internet access. You can request, at no charge, that we prevent non-telecommunication charges from appearing on your bill.
