Richard Warley is the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Regional President for CenturyLink, responsible for overall business goals and leadership including sales, marketing and operations in the region. His focus is on supporting the needs of enterprise, government and carrier customers, whilst delivering the best customer experience.
Richard previously served as the Managing Director, International, for CenturyLink, where he was responsible for developing sales strategy, driving revenue growth and owning client relationships.
Richard joined CenturyLink from IPsoft, a provider of autonomic and cognitive solutions, where he held the position of Chief Executive Officer. Previously he served as CEO of KVH, a Tokyo-based company specialising in data centre, cloud, network and IT services.
Richard has more than 20 years' experience in financing and managing technology companies in Europe, the U.S. and Asia, including senior roles at SAVVIS International Business, where he took the company public (whilst at Merrill Lynch) in 2000. Richard started his career as a lawyer in the U.K. before moving to New York, where he worked in the investment banking divisions of DLJ and Merrill Lynch. Richard has a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree (Economics), with Distinction, from the London School of Economics.
Michael is the Senior Vice President of Finance for CenturyLink EMEA, responsible for the overall finance functions within the region including accounting, billing, procurement, financial planning and analysis.
Within his role, crucial to the growth of the company, Michael drives improved profitability and robust financial operations by working closely with varied areas of the business across EMEA. He also contributes to supporting customer satisfaction ensuring smooth billing and accounting systems are promoted across the organisation.
Michael has 20 years' experience as a strategic financial business partner, having spent the last 18 years at the former Level 3 Communications. Prior to his current role, Michael was Vice President of Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis for EMEA and previously served various financial roles within the company.
Tyler is the Vice President of Product and Marketing EMEA, responsible for overseeing products and services that enable enterprises’ digital transformation across the region.
He leads planning and alignment of functions that comprise the company's extensive Product Portfolio, Marketing and Customer Experience activities, Specialist Sales and Commercial Operations. This effective alignment of key departments ensures the company's go to market offering clearly contributes to delivering a differentiated customer experience, assisting customers move towards an adaptive networking environment.
Tyler has over 20 years of industry experience, having spent most of his career at Century Link throughout multiple acquisitions including Level 3 Communications and prior to that Global Crossing. During his tenure he has held leadership positions in Operations, Service Delivery, Business Process, Sales Engineering, Customer Experience and Product Management.
Julia is the Vice President of Sales for the UK and Ireland, focused on ensuring the continued growth of CenturyLink's business within these markets. Additionally, she is responsibility for a cohesive CenturyLink Enterprise growth strategy on a pan-EMEA level, running a cross-functional team with experts from Operations, Finance, Marketing and other functions.
To enable enterprises’ digital transformation in the UK and Ireland, Julia leads the local Direct Sales, Customer Support and Sales Engineers teams.
Prior to this role, Julia served in various senior roles at Level 3 Communications, with responsibilities ranging from Access Management to Customer Services and Operations.
Julia has spent over 17 years working in the hi-tech industry, starting her career at the smartphone operating system joint venture, Symbian Software Ltd. In March 2018, Julia was named in Capacity Magazine’s 20 Women to Watch in Telecoms list.
Bart is the Vice President of Sales for the European Continent, Middle East and Africa, focused on ensuring the continued growth of CenturyLink's business within these markets. To enable enterprises' digital transformation, he leads the local Direct Sales, Customer Support and Sales Engineers teams.
Additionally, Bart is responsible for bringing a renewed focus to CenturyLink's Wholesale strategy on a pan-EMEA level.
Prior to this role, Bart served as Country Director with Level 3 Communications, with responsibility for expanding the Benelux and Nordics regions for the company. His remit also included Managing Director for the Dutch organisation, developing local and regional investment and marketing plans. He was also looking after the local legal entity.
With more than 20 years' experience in Network companies in the Netherlands, Bart’s early career included sales roles with IBM Global Network Services.
Matt is the Director of Cloud EMEA, responsible for overseeing cloud products and services that enable enterprises to leverage the power of cloud services across the region.
He leads Sales Engineering and the Cloud Specialist Sales team for the cloud and hosting business across the region. With his cloud team he focuses on collaborating with customers to identify the best execution venue for individual application workloads, assisting them in achieving their digital transformation objectives. He ensures the company's Cloud go to market offering clearly contributes to delivering a differentiated customer experience.
Prior to his current role, Matt was responsible for leading the product commercialisation for CenturyLink Cloud. Before joining CenturyLink, Matt gained 23 years’ experience in technology product management, sales, business development, and demonstrated his sales engineering leadership by growing revenue and increasing the productivity of large sales organisations.
